Our “Just-in-Time” (JIT) Inventory Method is our inventory strategy designed to improve the return on investment by reducing in-process inventory and its associated costs. This system allows us to deliver supplies right when we need them. Re-order points make sure necessary inventory is available and yet also prevents us from over- stocking. (To meet a 95% service rate we like to carry about 2 standard deviations of demand in safety stock.)
